The Term contra-indication is used to describe any condition that may change the normal course of the treatment. Contra-indications should be always looked for during an initial consultation and noted on a consultation sheet. Contra-indications for Eyelashes include any disorder causing sensitivity of the eyes and surrounding skin, for example:

• Conjunctivitis
• Stye
• Cuts/abrasions in the eye area
• Psoriasis in the eye area
• Eczema in the eye area
• Flakey Skin in the eye area
• Septic area history of eye sensitivity.

IF IN DOUBT, DO NOT TREAT – REFER THE CLIENT TO THEIR DOCTOR!
